ACM Fallapalooza

The activities committee I am on at work (ACMAC) planned a family fun day for employees' families today. We planned a catered meal and paid for admission to the activities at Sleepy Hollow Sport Parks in Des Moines for the day. http://www.sleepyhollowsportspark.com/summer.html

We had a pretty good turn out, and the weather was beautiful. It was one last summer day where short sleeves were OK. We ate lunch then headed to the rock climbing wall. Skylar and Eliza both wanted to climb the 30+ foot wall, and they BOTH MADE IT TO THE TOP!!! I couldn't believe how little they looked up there, but they did it. So cool!

We also rode go carts and bumper boats, and played mini golf. I never giggled so hard in my life as I did on the bumper boats... So fun! The girls jumped in the bounce houses, and Danny and I tried to make each other sick on the Wizzer... Great fun afternoon that tired the whole family out.

We love Sleepy Hollow. Connor used to play soccer there and we've been there several times to tube down the hills in the winter time. Looks like you had a good time!

OMG, the picture of you and Danny on the Wizzer is hysterical.

Looks like a fun time was had by all. The girls look like little ants climbing up that wall.

Holy cow- I didn't check your blog for a week, and you posted almost every freakin' day LOLOL. Sounds like you've been busy, and the photos of you and Danny and the girls on those rides [and that rock wall- gasp!] were pretty darn cool!
Twilight rocks :)
I just finished the 4th one- Breaking Dawn- and would suggest that you read her online story of Edward's version of how they met BEFORE you read Breaking Dawn.
